Lindsay is the owner of Self Care Company and has a true passion for self-care and all things beauty. She began her journey at Paul Mitchell The School Orlando, launching her career right in Orlando, Florida. With over 15 years of experience in high-end spas and salons, including The Ritz-Carlton.  Lindsay has built a strong foundation of expertise and a deep understanding of the beauty industry.

She offers a wide range of customized hair services while staying on the pulse of the latest beauty trends, tips, and essential haircare products for at-home maintenance. Lindsay believes great hair starts with an everyday routine, and she is dedicated to helping her clients look and feel their absolute best beyond the salon.

​

You can find Lindsay behind the pink doors of Self Care Company, bringing lots of energy, passion, and a high-end experience to every client she serves.

Born and raised in Louisville, she’s proud to call this city home. She has been part of the Self Care family since opening day in 2023 and is often the unofficial welcome committee when guests walk through the front door. She’s also the go-to dog treat supplier for all the local pup friends who stop by.

Outside of the salon, she’s a wife and a mom to two young boys who keep life busy, fun, and full of love. When she’s not doing hair, you’ll find her spending time with her family, trying to fall in love with lifting weights, crafting whenever she can, and “reading”… as long as it’s on audiobook.

​

​With over 20 years behind the chair, being a hairstylist isn’t just what she does—it’s truly her passion. She’s certified in Habit Hand Tied Extensions and a Halo Couture distributor. For customized extension options, she offers a full wall of hair to choose from. Her goal is always to help every guest leave feeling confident, beautiful, and cared for.

Laine is a hairstylist with over 23 years of experience and a deep-rooted love for her community. Having spent most of her professional career right here in Prospect, Kentucky, she’s proud to be part of the Self Care Company family and grateful to create in a place that feels like home.

Inspired by art, travel, antiquing, music, and all things hygge. Laine finds beauty in the details and prefers the backroads over the fast lane. She’s always creating, always dreaming, and currently hopes this is the year she finally perfects the art of sourdough.

​

Most of all, Laine has a passion for people. Her chair is a space for creativity, connection, and plenty of laughter. What started as client relationships have grown into genuine friendships, complete with great hair, great conversation, and lots of “yap sessions.” For Laine, doing hair isn’t just a career, it’s a way to blend art, community, and joy every day.

Erin is a Louisville native with over 22 years of experience in the hair industry. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, and Hair Design School, Erin has spent her career blending technical expertise with an intuitive understanding of personal style and ability.

For five years, Erin traveled internationally as an educator for GHD, sharing her knowledge and passion for hair styling with professionals around the world. Her work has been featured in print and television, and she has participated in live fashion shows both locally and abroad.

​

Erin specializes in creating current, personalized hair that fits each client’s lifestyle, skill level, and everyday reality. Known for her engaging personality, she takes pride in helping clients better understand their hair and feel confident caring for it long after they leave the chair.

​

Married for 22 years, Erin is the busy mom of a high school senior, a freshman, and a seventh grader. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s volunteering for her kids schools and spending time with her two golden retrievers, two rescued cats and family.

Brittany is a master stylist, with over 17 years of experience behind the chair. Specializing in Blonding, she is a perfectionist when it comes to placement, tone, and preserving the integrity of your hair. She is also passionate about creating beautiful, confidence-boosting looks tailored to each client.

Outside of the salon she’s a wife and proud mom to her son. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, reality tv and is always listening to a podcast. Having grown up in Prospect, now raising her family in Goshen, she’s ecstatic to call Self Care Company her home.

When you sit in Brittany’s chair be prepared to be best friends. Laid back and easy to talk to, she’s great at making you feel heard. Her chair is a judgment-free zone where you can relax and be yourself. She is dedicated to making every appointment feel like your favorite escape.

With 10 years of experience behind the chair, Courtney is passionate about helping every client feel confident and beautiful. She began her career in Michigan, spent several years building her clientele in North Carolina, and is now excited to welcome new clients in Kentucky.

Courtney enjoys working with the entire family and offers services for women, men, and children. She specializes in gray coverage and lived-in color that grows out naturally, creating results that are both timeless and low maintenance. She also offers formal styling for weddings, proms, and other special events.

Her philosophy is simple: your hair should look great even months after your initial appointment. Every haircut and color service is customized to fit each client’s lifestyle, making it easy to maintain healthy, beautiful hair between visits.

Outside of the salon, Courtney enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two daughters. Whether she’s hiking, thrifting for unique finds, getting lost in a good book, or continuing her education in the ever-evolving world of hair, she’s always inspired by creativity and lifelong learning.

Courtney looks forward to building lasting relationships with her clients and helping each person achieve hair they truly love.

Jessica is a premier brow artist specializing in natural-looking brows that feel effortless, yet transformative.

With over 14 years in the beauty industry, she offers a unique blend of technical precision and intuitive artistry, for results that are soft, timeless, and always aligned with facial harmony.

Jessica trained in advanced brow techniques in Chicago and is a University of Louisville graduate. At the core of her work is a commitment to restoring confidence and creating brows that help women feel like the most elevated, self-assured version of themselves.

Chloe has spent 15 years in the beauty industry, beginning her career in hair before falling head over heels for lashes and turning that passion into her full-time focus. What started as a curiosity quickly became her true calling, allowing her to blend artistry, precision, and creativity into every set she creates.

She specializes in custom lash sets designed to elevate each client’s natural beauty while simplifying their daily routine. Chloe’s goal is for every client to wake up feeling put together, confident, and effortlessly glam, without spending extra time in the mirror. Her favorite part of her work is seeing how a great lash set can boost confidence and make life just a little easier (and a lot more fabulous).

Amanda Rube, RN is a Master Injector, IV Nurse, Wellness Coach, and Master Stylist with a passion for blending artistry, science, and individualized care.

​

With over 17 years in the beauty industry, Amanda began her career as a professional hair stylist, where her eye for detail and appreciation for aesthetics were first developed. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville, allowing her to seamlessly merge her artistic foundation with evidence-based medical practice.

​

Known for her meticulous facial assessments and honest, natural approach, Amanda specializes in cosmetic injectables, advanced skin treatments, IV therapy, and hair services. Her work is guided by precision, integrity, and a commitment to enhancing—not altering—natural beauty.

​

Amanda’s mission is to empower individuals through education, transparency, and expert evaluation, helping clients feel confident, informed, and aligned in their aesthetic and wellness journey.

​

Outside of her professional life, Amanda is married to her husband Ryan, an outdoorsman and arborist, and together they are raising their three children: Rozlynn, Ryder, and Rogan.
